Champion Jockey Harry Cobden is one of the star names riding this year in the IJF South West Jockeys Showjumping Challenge at Bicton Arena in Devon.

The inaugural event, supported by Spillers will be held at 7pm on Friday 5 July with live music and an after party. It will be the highlight of the evening, FREE to enter and part of the Bicton Arena’s Summer Tour.

Cobden will be joined by nine other jockeys, all riding ex racehorses. He says:

“I had my first taste of showjumping at the London Horse Show, and apart from a slight spill in warm up, absolutely loved it! I’ve had a little practice on Native River this time, and so hope we can do a good job. More than anything, it’s for a great cause that we all need and support.”

Kay Scriven of Spillers says:

“SPILLERS Horse Feeds are delighted to support the IJF South West Jockeys Showjumping Challenge. Not only is it a fabulous showcase of the versatility of thoroughbreds but a chance to support such a worthy cause. We are proud to feed these horses whilst they are racing but also as they transition into their new careers and look forward to joining you all at the event.”
