Centre Administrator

Peter O’Sullevan House, Newmarket

Hours: Part-time basis (ideally 10.00am – 1.00pm Mon – Fri)

Closing date for applications:  31st October 2021

The Injured Jockeys Fund helps any rider who holds, or has held, a professional or amateur licence.  The charity has three Rehabilitation and Fitness Centres across the UK and we are looking for a friendly, confident individual who can offer a warm welcome to visitors to our Newmarket site, Peter O’Sullevan House.

This new role of Centre Administrator will support the Centre Manager, primarily at the reception desk but assisting in some other practical and administrative areas as required.  The role is offered on a part-time basis, ideally working from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, Monday to Friday.  There will also be a requirement to provide extra cover on an occasional basis, if this can be accommodated.

Confident telephone and computer use is essential for this role and experience of the use of databases would be an advantage. Candidates must have attained GCSE English at Level 4  (Grade C or equivalent) as a minimum. As the IJF handles sensitive personal information, discretion and full compliance with data protection rules is essential.

The Injured Jockeys Fund is an equal opportunities employer. We take the safeguarding of our beneficiaries very seriously therefore a DBS check will be required, along with two references prior to appointment. No Agencies thank you.

Application forms can be requested from:  maddie@ijf.org.uk  or can be downloaded below. Completed application forms must be submitted, (with a CV and covering letter) no later than 31 October, 2021, either by email to maddie@ijf.org.uk
