Everyone at the Injured Jockeys Fund would like to say a huge thank you to the family of Joe Mercer who have raised a fantastic amount for the fund at the Doncaster Leger Legends Event and The Joe Mercer Memorial Golf Day and Auction at Donnington Valley Golf Course.
Joe rode an incredible 2,810 winners in Britain between 1950 and 1985, including the prestigious Doncaster St Leger; Joe’s family kindly decided to include his winning cap in the auction in aid of the IJF.
