Oaksey House provides specialist support to injured jockeys, individuals and beneficiaries recovering from physical and neurological trauma and members of the wider Lambourn racing community .
The facility delivers advanced treatment programs, respite care, permanent residential accommodation, therapy and consultation rooms, a hydrotherapy pool and education and long term health and support.
Demand for these services continues to grow. However, key areas of the existing building, particularly the first-floor gym and associated clinical spaces, are increasingly constrained and no longer able to meet operational, clinical or accessibility requirements.
To address this, the IJF Board of Trustees has approved a major redevelopment to deliver a new ground floor gym, targeted internal reconfiguration, improved clinical privacy and expanded parking.
