We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Stefano Cherchi following injuries sustained in a fall at Canberra on March 20th. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and weighing room colleagues both in Australia and the UK. Stefano was a very well regarded and popular jockey, particularly so in the Newmarket area where he was based for some time. We know that this loss will be very difficult for his many friends worldwide and offer our deepest condolences and support where needed.
