The Joe Mercer Golf Day 2024 was a tremendous success, raising funds for The Injured Jockeys Fund while bringing together friends, family, and supporters for a day of competitive golf. This year’s event featured some exceptional performances, with participants demonstrating both skill and camaraderie on the course.
Final Standings:
- 1st Place: Matt Baker, Michael Harbour, Chris Grassick & Terry Standon – 94 points (49 on countback)
- 2nd Place: Henry Mercer, Cameron Mercer, Josh Lawrence & Craig Pearce (Smokey Joe’s Bandits) – 94 points (48 on countback)
- 3rd Place: Aaron Rid, Jack Finlater, Jordan Dorward & Shane Quinlan (NARS) – 92 points
In addition to the team results, individual honors were awarded to:
- Nearest the Pin on the 3rd Hole: Chris Edgington
- Longest Drive on the 11th Hole: Craig Pearce
A special highlight of the day was seeing the Mercer family finish in 2nd place, with a team that included Henry Mercer, Cameron Mercer, and Josh Lawrence, making it a memorable experience for the family.
