On Friday 27th July, 30 members of the IJF Supporters Club had the opportunity to visit Banstead Manor Stud to meet the illustrious Frankel in the flesh.

The day began with lunch at Palace House‘s restaurant ‘The Tack Room’ before everyone made their way to Juddmonte Farms Headquarters, Banstead Manor to see Frankel, Bated Breath, Kingman and Oasis Dream. These wonderful horses were paraded for our group by their respective stallion men, Jason Imeson, Lewis Manfield, Elliot Body and Jay Legg and the overall parade was hosted by Kate Hannam, all of whom were willing and able to answer Club members ™ many questions about the stallions and the stud itself.

Those attending also had the opportunity to book to go racing at Newmarket Racecourse or take a look around Palace House Museum where Sire De Grugy, Purple Moon, Starluck, Catena Alta, Mulk and Royal Battalion are currently being re-trained in the ROR yard.
